After studying Arts Management at Bretton Hall, University of Leeds, Helen embarked on a career in theatre. Over the last nine years this work has predominantly been focussed on work in regional theatres including stints at Theatre by the Lake, Keswick and New Vic Theatre, Staffordshire. 

While working at the New Vic Theatre Helen took a secondment from her usual Stage Management role to produce their extremely ambitious Hoard Festival. This, along with completing The Optimisits course run by China Plate Theatre, ignited her passion for producing. 

Since starting a family Helen has been exploring ways to combine family life with her passion for theatre, and has since started to work in a freelance capacity. Her background in Stage Management and additional producing experience allows her to take a multi-faceted approach to roles. Helen is looking forward to finding more ways to fudge being a parent and working!
